Program Description:
PC-SELL is a Point-Of-Sale System for the retail sales environment. It
includes modules for Inventory, Accounts Receivable, and Invoicing. It
works with other modules such as PC-MAIL to form a more integrated
environment.
PC-SELL is written in Microsoft's Compiled BASIC, and, therefore, will not
run on your system unless you have either IBM's or Microsoft's BASRUN.EXE
program.
System requirements aren't given in the documentation. The author does,
however, go to some lengths to discuss the difficulty of installation and
the fact that some of the installation may not work properly on a floppy
disk. The reviewer's advice, based on the documentation, is that PC-SELL
should be run on a hard disk only! Minimum requirements are, then, an IBM
PC or compatible with a hard disk and a floppy disk, DOS 2.0 or greater,
256K bytes of RAM, and a printer.
